The North Shore Crisis Services Society is proud to host the 7th Annual Gala of Grace - presented by BlueShore Financial. This charitable event is dedicated to honouring freedom, women's empowerment, and the pursuit of a future where everyone can thrive, and attracts 300+ key female figures from the vibrant North Shore community
Year after year, the Gala of Grace has helped reach critical milestones for clients, especially with developing supportive housing and trauma-informed services. After tickets sold out in less than 2 hours, proceeds from the event helped to finally open Janet's Place, their third and newest Second Stage Housing Program that offers longer-term supportive housing for 2 families at a time (typically for 1 year). Here, families have more time and safe space to access supports and continue to heal after their short-term stay at a transition house (typically for 30 days).
The Gala of Grace has touched all of their programs and pushed the boundaries of possibilities for women in the community. Over the years, they have welcomed more youth into their annual PEACE Summer Camps and built a new library, quiet outdoor spaces, and children's playrooms at their safe homes.
With the 7th Annual Gala, the hope is to continue raising funds to strengthen their essential programs, plan for the future with confidence, and support more women and children fleeing violence - in addition to raising community awareness through attendance, media support, and social media engagement. Your generosity will reach clients in the form of a pathway out of violence. Last year, the gala was able to raised $149,000 for women surviving violence, and 100% of public donations go directly to funding housing and support services for women and children leaving domestic abuse and violence.
Plus, from now to April 26th, BlueShore Financial will be matching donations made online and at the Gala of Grace, up to $2,000. To have your impact doubled, click HERE.
Hope you'll join the Gala in forging a future that's free of abuse for everyone,
