So how much would you pay for this picture? It’s thought to be the earliest know photo of David Bowie playing publicly. Only back then he was simply known by his given name, Davey Jones.
The picture was taken in suburban London when Bowie was just 15, and part of a band called The Konrads. A school friend named Sue Beal snapped the picture while The Konrads played at a youth club. She’s held onto the picture for decades but now has been convinced to auction it off. London’s Daily Mail says she only wants about $150 for it.
Bet it sells for a lot more than that. Any predictions?
